You’d be a fool to not have a LEGO collection this year. has announced a constant stream of expensive, massive sets, and this Harry Potter set continues that trend.
Gringotts Wizarding Bank – Collectors’ Edition is a 4803-piece set that, as you might have guessed, recreates the iconic Harry Potter bank. The set includes not only the Gringotts main lobby but also the underground area of Gringotts with its three vaults. One of them belongs to Bellatrix. There’s also a mine cart track that spirals down the entire set.
The official description of the set reads: “Be transported into the Wizarding World by building this Lego Harry Potter Gringotts Bank – Collectors’ Edition.” Recreate the bank’s mezzanine and foyer with Hagrid’s secret letter in a wall safe. Build a spiraling vault cart track that has a mechanism to stop the cart in each of the three vaults underground – Bellatrix’s vault which contains a magic surprise! This set includes an Ironbelly Ukrainian dragon and a model of Magical Menagerie.
There are 13 figures included in the set, including Harry (one is younger and more carefree and the other is older and wiser), Ron, and Hermione. Hermione can be changed to Bellatrix as she was in Deathly Hallows Part 2.
The big question is – what does it cost? It’s available for preorder at a pricey PS369.99 (USD429.99). Whew.
You can get your Gringotts Wizarding Bank – Collectors’ Edition from 4 September if you’re prepared to spend some money. LEGO VIP can even get the set earlier, on September 1.
