Final Fantasy Creator Creates a New Square Company Within FFXIV 6d5g2p
It is easy to believe that Hironobu Sakaguchi would have finished Final Fantasy XIV. The director of the Final Fantasy and several classic entries continues to comb through FFXIV while also managing Mistwalker, his studio. His past experiences include starting his clothing brand and trying out to solve the most challenging content in MMOs. Now he is trying to revive the spirit of Squaresoft. 6q3f1u
Sakaguchi has recently started his own Free Company. The Free Company’s name is “Square,” a nod to the earlier days when the Final Fantasy publisher was Square (later Squaresoft), and Enix was the distinguished competitor. The logo of the Free Company also recalls the Square red “A,” but in Final Fantasy Blue.
It’s not SQUARE ENIX. It’s SQUARE. “Now is the right time to be SQUARE again,” Sakaguchi stated in his tweet.
To Sakaguchi’s Free Company, one must be on the Anima Server of the Japanese Mana Data Center. Sakaguchi would also need you to be a friend. The Free Company has six active and is classified as Hardcore. You’d need to be able to prog through Dragonsong’s Reprise to keep up with him. He’s already cleared the latest Savage raid level. In general, you’d need to be able to speak Japanese.
Sakaguchi is just finishing FFXIV. Sakaguchi started to play back in September 2012 and continued to the end. Sakaguchi completed Heavensward in just two days, Stormblood took six days, and Shadowbringers took only four days. It has been an incredible run, and it doesn’t seem like he’s stopping.
