Nintendo has teamed up with Panda Global, a major organisation within the Super Smash Bros. Community. In 2022, North America will host the first Smash Bros. event. It will feature Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Super Smash Bros. Merge. More information about the event will come in the future.
All eligible players will be allowed to participate in the circuit if they feel strong enough to take on the top fighters in the Smash league. In the Business Wire press release Bill Trinin also commented on this partnership, saying:
